Woohoo – I’m #11 at Barnes and Noble online!
So just to be clear, my book, The Time Cavern, is #11 in the category Search: Science fiction -> Time travel -> Children’s fiction on Barnes and Noble. Granted a pretty small category and my rank will probably drop fast… but hey, nice to have any kind of rank!
First saw mention of this book here – since then, I’ve seen it mentioned on several sites, along with the author’s posts on several web boards (including when the initial Kindle version price was drastically lowered). This is an author that is really taking self-marketing seriously and has received several good reviews as a result – not to mention that no doubt a number of Kindle owners have been able to preview the first few chapters of his book and some of those should have led to purchases. The tiny previews most make available (and especially those using some of the more atrocious flash enabled readers that make it very difficult to read) simply don’t do the same job (esp since at the end of the preview on a Kindle, it’s one click to buy and keep going).
